ASU Continuing Education Offerings

Once again, our club has made arrangements with Arizona State University for Nicholas Damask to teach two courses at PebbleCreek.  Each session will cost $100.00 per person.  Class size is limited and will be taught in the Palermo Room, Tuscany Falls.

The first session will run October 17, 24, 31 and November 7 and 14.  Each class is 6-8 pm.  We are not allowed to have food in the room, those that want to meet at the Grill prior to class time meet at 5pm.

The first session will be titled:  “Scorpions in a Bottle:  The US and World Politics.

Lecture #1:  Realism and the Struggle for Power
Lecture #2:  Liberalism and World Government
Lecture #3:  The Isolationist Temptation
Lecture #4:  The Cold War Era
Lecture #5:  The Clash of Civilizations

The second session which will run in the spring titled:  “From Russia, With Love”

Lecture #1:  From Czar to Commissar
Lecture #2:  Intelligence and Counter-Intelligence during the cold war
Lecture #3:  The Secret World of American Communism
Lecture #4:  Collapse
Lecture #5:  From Commissar to Czar

Checks payable to ASU and delivered to me at 16487 W Wilshire Drive, Goodyear, Az. 85395.  Remember seating is limited!
